May 28 Playlist - T-Dot Starts a Riot!

Good evening Kingdom people,

Thanks for checking out the show this week. We've got Tedashii's new song kicking off the show. At the time of recording the show, his album was #2 on the iTunes hip hop chart and #8 overall on iTunes. This is quite the favor of God seeing that the other albums on this list are secular albums. 

Once again the Basement, Peoria's hip hop church is coming up on June 4th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Dream Center Peoria. The first service last month was really awesome and we're anticipating the Holy Spirit to move again as we lift up God on one accord through hip hop.

A Letter for help from Tony of Hazakim…

Dear Lamp Mode & Hazakim Supporters,

Some of you are aware of the medical issues I have been facing in recent months. About 4 months ago I began having problems swallowing food & liquids. The problem got progressively worse until I was unable to eat or drink nearly anything. I finally went to the doctor and, after a number of tests, discovered that I have a rare esophagus disease called achalasia. Essentially, the nerves of my esophagus, as well as the sphincter muscle which leads into my stomach, do not work to allow food to pass. Because of this, I am unable to eat most things and am limited to a liquid diet consisting mainly of Ensure & vitamin drinks. Pizza has never looked so good!

According to doctors, my case is severe and is complicated by inflammation which would make a balloon dilation of the muscle too risky…leading to a possible perforation of the esophagus. In short, my only option is a complicated surgery to correct this condition. In addition to the esophagus, doctors have found a cluster of enlarged lymph node on my left lung which they want to get biopsy samples of while I am in surgery for the achalasia.

Like many Americans I do not have medical insurance and thus am unable to have the needed surgery. Meanwhile my weight continues to drop drastically. Despite a constant intake of protein drinks, I have lost roughly 30 pounds in the past 3 months. It may look “o.k.” now, but if my weight continues to drop, it could be hazardous.

And so I am reaching out to you, my brothers and sisters. I am literally looking at a couple thousand of dollars to get sufficient help for the present state of things. If each person could give $5 (or whatever you can), it would greatly help me to have the needed surgery & biopsy. I appreciate the many of you who have already been praying for me and trust that the Lord will see me through this, for His glory.

May 21, 2011 Episode 20 - We Ain't Camping Today

What's good Kingdom people?

It's a pretty busy day and we should have the playlist up by later tonight. The main thing you should know about the show today is that we wanted to expose the truth about the end of times. We do not agree with Harold Camping's prediction of the rapture happening tonight at 6:00 p.m. While we hold to this, we also cannot let the opportunity go by with out reaching out to those not yet saved and those that may be following a false prophet.

If you would like to download the show, we want as many people to hear this as possible. Because, whether Mr. Camping is wrong or right (and we are pretty sure he doesn't have it right) the truth is that Jesus Christ is coming back like a thief in the night and no one knows the time or day. How about a what if? What if Mr. Camping is off by 1 hour, 1 week, 1 month, or 1 year? Are you ready to meet your Maker? Is your salvation secure? These are the questions we should be asking ourselves in light of this swirling news that is mis-guiding a large number of people. Let's have love in our hearts and a kind truthful word on our lips as we may be confronted by different people on both sides of the fence today.
